Gas Killer could cut the gas cost of an Aztec epoch proof submission by about 83%: roughly 1,390,000–1,455,000 of the 1,675,000–1,752,000 gas each submitEpochRootProof spends today. We measured this on real Ethereum mainnet submissions to the Aztec rollup in October 2026. The rollup receives about 258 of these a day, at a median of 1.75M gas, which is more proof-verification gas than any other contract we have measured.
